  • God’s Love is so Wonderful!

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.” Psalm 136:1

To be steadfast means to be dutifully firm and unwavering. And that’s what God’s love is – it never wavers irrespective of what you’ve done, where you’re from or who you are. If anything has failed in the past, one thing will never fail – His Love for you.

Maybe you have never felt it and you’re wondering whether it even exists in your life. Just like the psalmist says, I reiterate it to you today that His steadfast love for you endures forever. It is timeless.  So, rejoice! You are loved by God. You are precious to Him and He is offering His greatest gift to you today and always – His infinite love. Have a love-filled day!

Confession: I am loved unconditionally even much more than I could ever think. I appreciate God’s love for me and I am a carrier of His love to everyone around me in Jesus name!

  • Emmanuel- God With Us

“Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take.” Joshua 1:9 (MSG)

Isn’t it comforting to know that wherever you go, God is there with you? God told Joshua to be strong and to have courage and went on to emphasise to Joshua that He, God, will be with him everywhere he went. Yes, everywhere! You don’t have to feel all alone. You don’t have to feel like no one cares or understands you because whether you like it or not – God is with you. He is Emmanuel, which means “God with us” and He’s working out a lot of things on your behalf even if you don’t realise it.

He is leading you, guiding you, loving you, and providing for you from His unlimited resources. Whatever you need, He has it all. Just be open to Him today and trust Him. It is only by faith that you can receive what He has in store for you.  So, go about your day confidently knowing in yourheart that He is right there wherever you are! Have a blessed week ahead!

Confession: God is with me and I am confident that he will always show me the right path. He will lead me by His truth and teach me His ways because He is the One who saves me!

  • See as He Sees

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise”. Philippians 4:8

When you wake up in the morning, is the first thought that crosses your mind, “Oh! I got up on the wrong side of the bed and so I know I’m going to have a bad day today”? If that’s what you do, you are already setting the tone for everything to go wrong in your day. The first thing that you should imagine in any situation is that God’s goodness and mercies are always with you and His favor will work on your behalf everywhere you go – and that is exactly what will happen! Yourthoughts are very powerful, and they shape your perspective and the direction of your life.

What thoughts do you have about your life, about the people around you and about situations you face?  Do you know that it is only when you change your mind, your perspective, and your attitude to life that things will change? Decide to live a better thought-life and dwell on God’s word always. Bring your mind under the subjection and authority of God’s transformational power and watch your destiny change for good! Have a wonderful week!

Confession: I begin to see things the way God sees things. I am not what I used to be but I am what He says I am. Every day, I become more positive in my thoughts, in my attitude and in my perception in Jesus name.

  • The Promises

He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, so that by faith, we might receive the promise of the spirit.” Gal 3:14 (NIV)

One reason you should continue to avail yourself of the benefits of God’s word is that it contains vital components of promises. The bible is undeniably replete with sustainable promises than you could possibly plug into in your lifetime. And I am confident to say that God has proved himself repeatedly to me to be an epitome of faithfulness to His word and He has never failed.

But there can be a barrier to accessing these promises which is unfamiliarity with them. You cannot understand something you are oblivious to and you cannot appropriate yourself with something you don’t know. Which is why you have to familiarise yourself with God’s promises for every area of your life, every single day. You also have to be steadfast in your belief that whatever He promises you, he will do it and surpass your wildest expectations. So start loading up on God’s promises to you from today and have a restful weekend.

Confession:  I have the capacity to tap into God’s assurances of goodness for me. I will receive the promises of breakthrough, good health, success, prosperity, open doors, favor and so much more in Jesus name.

  • Just Trust God

“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him…” Nahum 1:7

We live in such an uncertain and troubling time, not only in Nigeria but all over the world. These days, the information we see all over the media don’t seem to provide succour for people. But in troubling times like this – just trust God. You may say, “Pastor, it’s easier said than done” but you need to take your eyes away from the world system and its patterns of survival, and more than ever before put your trust in God. He is your proof in reliability, truth and ability.

The bible says that “The Lord is your refuge in times of trouble”. This means that rather than God providing a refuge (in form of a place) for you to run to, He becomes a refuge that you can run to. He becomes your shelter and protection from trouble. Your safe place, your stronghold, yoursecurity, and your sanctuary. Isn’t this amazing? You just need to trust Him to take care of you no matter what happens. Be confident to know that you can never be stranded in any situation because He cares deeply for you. Have a wonderful day!

Confession: I will not wait for trouble to come before I build my strength to trust in God. I trust Him now and always and I am confident that I will never ever be stranded no matter what comes my way.

  • Listen… God is Speaking

“And the Lord came and called as before, “Samuel! Samuel!” and Samuel replied, “Speak, yourservant is listening.”- 1 Samuel 3:10

Prayer means “communication with God” and it’s what you need to do as a child of God. When you’re communicating with God, do you keep talking about only what you want, your needs, pain and hurts? Or after speaking do you also wait to listen to what He has to say about something on His heart too? Sometimes, we tend to behave like children and just complain and whine about what is not working yet rather than listen to God for instructions. Think about it – how would you feel if the person you were in a relationship with only wants to speak but never listens to you when you talk? God has something to share from His heart with you.

This season, be deliberate about listening to God. He will lay some specific instructions that will end a perennial issue in your lineage, proffer a solution to a nutty situation you have been facing or even just tell you something that will change your whole view about life. Be quiet before him and expect an encounter!

    Have a wonderful day.

Confession: I will hear a voice say to me, “This is the way, walk in it”. I will hear instructions and receive clarity on how to do them. I will receive solutions to problems, and experience divine encounters every day of my life this year in Jesus’ name

  • W.A.R – We Are Ready

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”– 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NKJV)

When a nation is at war, her citizens are on high alert. The government will disperse information about safety procedures to limit unnecessary exposure to attacks by air, land or sea. And anyone leaving the country will be advised to do so at their own risk because no emergency evacuation measures will be initiated on their behalf.

But when it comes to spiritual warfare- you must be ready, at alert and bold as child of God! The enemy is determined to cause havoc at every opportunity he gets, and God wants you to give you total deliverance and be victorious at all times! As a child of the Kingdom of Heaven, you have been issued some high alert information; that you walk in the flesh, but you do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of your warfare are not carnal but they are mighty through God! So, get up and get ready for war, resist the enemy and he will flee from you!  Have a victorious day!

Confession: I have authority to overcome all the powers of the enemy!

  • Grow in Knowledge

“My people are destroyed because they have not learned. You were not willing to learn. So I am not willing to have you be My religious leader. Since you have forgotten the Law of your God, I also will forget your children.“- Hosea 4:6 (NLV)
Being ignorant of God’s word puts a limitation on the blessings inherent in it. It’s your calling as a child of God, to know Him and to press more into that knowledge of God which is precious. There can’t be any transformation or advancement without having the right knowledge infused into yourspirit man.  The bible says that “the entrance of the word gives light and understanding unto the simple.”

Ask yourself these questions, is the word of God in your mouth really as powerful as it is in the mouth of God? Can you use the word of God to create and build your desired world? And are your job, business, child, wife or husband, finances and so on all rooted in the word of God? Live a transformed life by growing in the knowledge of God. Do have a blessed day.

Confession: As the word became flesh and dwelled amongst men, so shall the words of God in my mouth manifest for me to see and experience in Jesus name.

  • Spread Out. Think Big!

Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep…” Isaiah 54:2-3 AMP

Just imagine you were given an open-ended invitation to request for whatever you want from the richest and most successful man in the world, regardless of the quantity or quality of it. What would you ask for? Would you know what to ask for? God is saying to you today through the passage above to think big and open your mind to a different life. One He has designed specifically for you.

To receive what God wants to give you, you must enlarge the boundaries of your mind and see yourself the way God sees you. You must be assertive of yourself just as God is assertive of you. Say to yourself, “I am decision maker”, “I am first among equals”, “I am a city set on a hill whose light cannot be hidden”. This season, God is set to blow your mind and He is dishing out blessings already. So bring all the large containers you can find because an overflow is coming your way and don’t limit your capacity to be blessed by God. Have a wonderful day!

Confessions: I am victorious, I am a believer! I am an achiever of great things and a pacesetter of witty inventions in Jesus name!

  • Shut the Noise Out

“Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.”– 1 Kings 19:11-13 (NKJV)

The Bible makes it quite clear to us, that the voice of God comes to us in a gentle manner, that encourages and urges to live righteously. This is however in contrast to our society that promotes noisy and agitated environments. From the blaring horns in traffic, to our devices either hooked to our ears or speakers blasting with music, news, sports and so on. There are also so many other things that cause anxiety and fill the mind with irrelevant thoughts that distract a person from hearing the right things.

There’s only one thing to do in these moments, shut out the noise! Be intentional about keeping your ears open only to things that renew, refresh and inspire you. The bible says that, “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” We are in a season that requires a deliberate walk with God in order to fulfil destiny. Choose a lifestyle change, welcome peace and serenity and be free from the noise. Have a wonderful day.

Confession: I am led by the Spirit of God and I am sensitive to the presence of God. I have grace to make lifestyle changes that will hinder my relationship with God this year in Jesus name.
