Love… One Another

“After David had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself. From that day Saul kept David with him and did not let him return home to his family. And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. Jonathan took off the robe he was wearing and gave it to David, along with his tunic, and even his sword, his bow and his belt.” – 1 Samuel 18:1-4 NIV

Life will bring different people towards your path for various reasons. Your life has been pre-destined by God and carefully orchestrated by Him. He orders your steps to come in contact with people who will help align you with your destiny and purpose on earth or who you will even have to help with theirs. But when they do come, make sure to show them love as you would show yourself. Jonathan loved David as he loved himself. He even took it further by giving David his tunic, sword and belt – which was an indication of unconditional love. Whoever you come across this season, let the unconditional love of God that is shared abroad in your heart be seen, enjoyed and experienced. Have a wonderful Valentine’s celebration today!

Confession: I give love without holding back. God’s immeasurable love shared abroad in my heart will be seen and enjoyed by many that come in contact with me in Jesus name.
