“Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.”- Luke 12:22-23
“In these times, why shouldn’t I worry?” you might say. Well, because Jesus Christ says so. He explicitly says, “Do not worry about your life!” and then goes on to ask, “Which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?” None. So, again think about the question, “why should you worry?”
You are a child of God and He is your shepherd. A good shepherd sees to it that his flock are fed and watered and kept from harm. So, if you are having challenges and concerns, take it to Him in the place of prayer and drop it at His feet. God’s got you.
Confession: Lord, I am in the palm of your hands. I trust You completely and choose not to worry about anything any longer. You are a good good father and I am recklessly and beautifully loved by You.
