Transiting the Wilderness

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Just like the children of Israel, God sometimes takes us through the wilderness, not because we have sinned, but to prepare us for the life He destined for us. The wilderness for Israel was not supposed to be their permanent residence but a transiting phase to lead them into Canaan, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Do you feel that you are transitioning through life’s wilderness at the moment? Are you feeling tempted to give up, or doubt God’s word? Don’t lose focus and prolong your wilderness phase. Focus on the big picture God planted in your heart and follow His path! Weeping may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning, you are almost there… Press on! Have a wonderful day.

Confession: God is preparing me for something bigger. My wilderness experience is coming to end in Jesus name.
