  • This is the Confidence!

“And this is the confidence that we have in Him that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us and if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.”- 1 John 5:14-15,  (KJV)

Are you not excited to know that everything you ask for in prayer, according to God’s will, shall be granted? Some people approach prayer with doubt in their hearts and that should not be. Your prayers become more effective when you spend time learning God’s will rather than asking for things randomly, that way you are confident enough to know that He will answer. Also, in your relationship with God, always go to His presence absolutely certain in your heart that even before you ask anything, He knows what you need and makes it available to you according to His will.

It’s God’s wish that you prosper even as your soul prospers. Be unwavering in your confidence and faith in Him.

    Have a great week ahead!

Confession: I am more than confident in my Heavenly Father that whatever I ask of Him according to His will, He shall do for me!

  • By Your Words

“For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says.”-Mark 11:23

Do you know that you have authority from God to make changes within your sphere of influence through prayer and having faith? Yes! Your faith in God is so powerful, it can make things happen on the earth when you speak them into existence. Just as the words that came out of God’s mouth shaped the earth, the words that come out of your mouth can shape your world.

Start speaking and enforcing the will of God over your family, business, ministry, relationships and so on. You have been created by God to create things within your spheres of influence and authority and if you do not speak, the power of God will not be released. As a believer, actively craft your world with the words of your mouth. Start today!

Confession: I speak the counsel of God over my life. I declare things into existence just as my Heavenly Father does and I see those things established now in Jesus name!

  • Who Do You Call?

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:13

One of the policies of Heaven is restoration. And this is borne out of God not wanting any soul to perish, that He made salvation available for all who call on His name. God desires that souls are saved and receive the benefits of salvation which are mercy, grace, favour, direction, increase, love and every other good thing.

If you have never had the opportunity to believe in God and accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour, now is the chance to be a candidate of God’s love and mercy. Say this prayer, “Dear Lord, I come to you and declare before you and the hosts of heaven that I surrender my whole life to you! I desire what you desire for me and I pledge to be an instrument of restoration in my generation. Take me, use me and mould me to everything you want in Jesus name I pray. Amen.”

You have become a candidate of Heaven and your responsibility as its representative is to carry this good news everywhere you go. Enjoy a wonderful day!

Confession: I shall call upon the name of the Lord and so shall I be saved in Jesus name!

  • What’s Your Motivation for Prayer?

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6 -7

Your motivation for prayer should be one that comes from a yearn to get closer to God and to show Him love. Would you want a partner who only calls you when they want to ask a question, need some sort of favor or just to give one-line answers? Wouldn’t you rather have a partner who calls you just to hear your voice, to tell you how much they care about you and how much you mean to them? God does not want you to be motivated to pray only when you feel enemies are attacking, or when you’re in need of money, promotion, career change, children and so on.

We all appreciate being in a close, warm and loving relationship and God wants that with you too! Start changing the motive for your prayers to God to one that wants a personal relationship with him. Start investing time in speaking to Him every day, with thanksgiving for what he has done and is yet to do and intercede on behalf of others. You’ll see your life transform in unimaginable ways!

    Have a wonderful day!

Confession: Every day, I love on God and I seek to know Him more.

  • Keep the Footmen Out

“But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.” – Ephesians 5:3-5

Footmen can be described as little things that distract us from our original paths in life. Fornication, vulgarity, greed, envy and so on, can stop us from running the race God has set for us. One of the greatest effects of entertaining footmen are condemnation and guilt, and that can damage a person’s self- esteem, even before God. Which in turn denies them access to the strength that lies within to make amends and realign with God. If you study the woman caught in adultery, footmen of adultery had kept her in condemnation. She didn’t even realize the strength she had within her to overcome adultery until Jesus spoke to her.

God wants to awaken the strength within you that the enemy has tried to suppress as a result of the footmen in your life. To engage the miraculous this year you must remain strong in what God says about you! Sin has no dominion over you so you must ensure you give no room to the satan. Stay away from anything that will rob you of your inheritance in Christ Jesus and have a miraculous week ahead!

Confessions: I have the word of God and the strength of Christ to keep the footmen out!

  • The Steward’s Mentality

“Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required in stewards that one be found faithful”…And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it? – 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 & 7 (NKJV).

When something of value is entrusted into your hands, you become the custodian or steward of that thing. A steward is one who knows that all they are and all they have belongs to God. He is the source and instructor of the resources they have been given so they are not expected to act like they have not received it.  You are steward of the blessings and resources God has put in your hands.

Apostle Peter encourages you to share those gifts you have received with others. Bearing in mind that you must not look to them but to the God who gives them. This year, let yourself be an outlet God uses to accomplish His agenda and meet the needs of others, and you will not lack anything of any sort.

    Have a wonderful week ahead.

Confession: I steward the heavenly gifts and resources given to me faithfully. I will not abuse these gifts but use them diligently.

  • In the Image of God

“And God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground. ‘So God created man in his own image. In the image of God, he created them; male and female he created them.” – Genesis 1:26-27

To be made in God’s image means we are made in His likeness which is His nature and personality. So naturally, we are expected to reflect His traits and most especially, His love. Many people view love as a distant obligation or as a sudden frenzy of emotions, or even as an unattainable standard but the truth is: love is not only within your grasp, it is around you too.

You were created with the capacity to love to the fullest degree because you were made to be exactly like God, the One who loves unconditionally. Go out and love just as God does.
    Have a restful weekend.

Confession: I have the love of God because I am made in His image. I walk in the full understanding and manifestation of His love.

  • The Power of Fervency

And He said to them, “Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves;  for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’ -I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.” – Luke 11:5-8

When you are desperate for God to change the situation in your life, do you seek Him about it casually or do you tarry till you start to see a difference? One major characteristic of effective prayer is persistence. To be persistent is to continue in an opinion or course of action, in spite of difficulty or opposition. But too many Christians today display a ‘what will be, will be’ attitude, thinking that it is alright to just go along with whatever happens in life. Don’t be like a helpless straw floating in the wind and throw in the towel.

Persistence through prayer produces desired results. You can never be helpless and powerless when you are in constant communication with God. Today, make requests of God believing that you have received it. Remain persistent till you see the manifestation of that request in your life.

    Have a wonderful day!

Confession: I remain persistent in the place of prayer till I see God’s desires manifest in my life!

  • Let Everything…

“Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance! Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”- Psalm 150

Let us all thank God for His great blessing in Christ Jesus! I pray that God is a refuge to all those who are in trouble and soothe the hearts and souls of those who are wounded and broken in this season. May they have beauty for ashes, the oil of joy in exchange for the oil of mourning and a garment of praise instead of garments of heaviness.  May God’s peace that surpasses human comprehension be with every one of you in Jesus name! Praise the Lord and let His praise continually be in your mouth!

    Have a wonderful day!

Confession: I bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in my mouth!
