“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well.” – Psalms 139:14 (NIV)
There are about 17,500 uniquely identified species of butterflies; about 220,000 species of flies; and close to 40,000 varieties of cultivated rice. If God took the time to create and introduce such a wide range of variety into the world of animals and plants, then just imagine what care He took to create more than 7 billion human beings. You were made to stand out, not fit in. So why do you want to become like the next person?
The world seems to celebrate diversity but at the same time, create same thoughts that people should conform to thereby resulting in identity crisis, lack of inadequacy and competence required to make a difference in the world. You are not born of the world; you are uniquely born into it to make a difference. Therefore, let your unique light shine so bright for everyone to see and glorify God for it.
Confession: I am made different for a reason. I am unique and my light shines so brightly
