“O Lord, I give my life to you. I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat. No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others. Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.” – Psalms 25: 1-5 (NLT)
When these trials come, how do you respond? How do you respond when the hurt is real? How do you respond when you feel that the walls are closing in? How do you respond when things happen totally outside of your control? How do you respond?
You can find rest during these trying times through the comfort that is in God’s word. God’s word is an anchor that can keep you from sinking in these times. God allows trials in your life to help you grow up…to mature you in Him. In other words, you will never grow in your walk with Christ without trials. God uses them to be your teacher and to make you into the person He wants you to be.
Confession: I receive marvelous help to seek God’s wisdom even in my trying times. I declare that these trying times will transcend into tremendous blessings in my life in Jesus name. Amen
