Hope Series
An anchor is a device normally made of metal used to secure a vessel to the bed of a body of water to prevent the craft from drifting due to wind or current. Its purpose is to stabilize the vessel during the storm or ride.
Hope is therefore the anchor that secures our souls on the promises of God, thus preventing our minds, emotions, and wills from drifting due to the winds and currents of circumstances and life.
Hope keeps the mind, will and emotions steady despite what you see; despite what is going on; despite of how dire the situation looks.
This course helps you separate natural hope from biblical hope which is based on the truth of who God is and his ability and nothing else.
