‘…what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.‘ – I Corinthians 15:36-38 (NKJV) Don’t be too busy living your life that you forget to leave a legacy for others to walk by. One way or another, you will leave something that you will be remembered for. The question is, what kind of legacy will it be? Would it be one of obscurity or edification? The Bible says, those who leave nothing or bad legacies behind are like seeds that never sprouted or reproduced anything. Or like trees that produced bad fruits and such legacies will eventually be cut down as fodder for fire. But those who leave good legacies are like good seeds that go on living, long after they are gone. So, I urge you today, dare to leave a good legacy that the ones after you would be proud of. Confession: With God’s help, I am living my life by design and leaving a good legacy every day. |
