“At least there is hope for a tree: if it is cut down, it will sprout again and its new shoots will not fail.” – Job14:7 NIV.
In a world full of chaos, trouble, unrest and all manner of evil, it can be difficult to see the “good” in the world. However, as a Christian you need to be deliberate about being positive-minded no matter the platter life offers. You have to choose to see the good in every situation.
Meditating and confessing God’s word helps cultivate a positive attitude. His word is life, timeless and relevant to be applied to any situation. A grateful heart helps boost a positive outlook. You cannot be thankful and be negative at the same time. Thanking God for what he has done reminds you of His faithfulness and increases your trust and hope in him. Listening to uplifting music also helps boost a positive outlook. It’s impossible to be singing with joy in your heart and be sad in your spirit. Prayer turns things around. When you commune with God, your hope is restored. It might be in the place of prayer that you receive a revelation to turn a situation around which in turn affects your outlook.
Confession: I choose to hold on to God’s word and be positive and hopeful irrespective of the situation around me.
