“Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make yourname great; And you shall be a blessing” – Genesis 12:1-2 NKJV Abraham was just existing before God called him into a covenant relationship. That relationship changed the course of Abraham’s life and made him a blessed person. Having access to resources is not the same thing as being blessed. You will find many unbelievers with access to resources and wealth, but you can’t refer to those who do not have regard for God’s covenant as a benchmark for a blessed life. Living a blessed life means living in a covenant with God that covers every facet of your life. The relationship then causes a manifestation of God’s Glory in your life in form of material blessings. Material things are not the blessing, the blessing is the opportunity to have a covenant relationship with God. Confession: The covenant relationship I have with God is for the manifesting of His glory in my life in Jesus name! |
