  • Are You Standing in Your Way?

Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand.”- Psalm 149:5-6

Sometimes in life, issues will come up and attempt to militate against your praise and worship to God. When you face such moments, fix your eyes on God’s Word and His promises. Don’t let anything hinder your praise today that will not any other day! If you are dealing with secret storms, health issues, marital turbulence, unemployment, disappointments, delay or denial – do not give up on God, plug into the power of praise!

When you face resistant powers, forces and contending issues that try to distract you from the truth of God’s Word, remind yourself that you are victorious! If you have to say it loud, do so because the bible has already said that you are more than conqueror in Christ Jesus! Know who you are in the kingdom and walk, talk and act like it till it manifests. Don’t stand in your own way, open your mouth and praise!

    Have a victorious day!

Confession: I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus, so absolutely nothing will hinder my praise to God this season. I open my mouth and I sing God’s praises.

  • It’s All Working for Your Good!

But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”- Genesis 50:20 NLT

Have you ever looked back on a painful situation or challenge and suddenly realized why it happened? You get a clearer picture and you are even more grateful for the incident because you have become better, stronger and wiser. But you don’t always have to wait for hindsight in order to connect the dots – you can praise your way in faith to connect the dots even before it makes any sense to you. When you praise God in the midst of difficulties, you are already celebrating your victory and seeing it ahead.

Don’t make your difficult situations become a season of complaining and despair and the pleasant ones a season of praise and thanksgiving. Praise at all times and in all situations because it is the antidote to difficult situations. God always ensures that what was meant for evil for you works out for your good.

    Enjoy a restful day today!

Confession: My God, I will praise and proclaim You always – no matter the circumstance because I believe that it’s all working out for my good.

  • Create an Atmosphere of Praise

Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.” – Psalm 149: 3-4

God dwells in the place of praise and wherever He dwells, victory also dwells with many other good things! One of your main duties as a living soul is to praise the Lord. Praise is basically your passport to God’s presence, your visa to a victorious Christian life and a supernatural move of God’s hand over you!

There are some dimensions you can only enter fully or activate through praise.  You also don’t need to select the good times only to praise Him for the bible says that you should give thanks at all times! Enter a season of limitless possibilities and divine intervention through radical praise!

Have a happy and restful Easter break!

Confession: I unlock the power of praise over my life and I enjoy divine victory and God’s peace this season in Jesus’ name.

  • Surrounded by God

And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, Alas, my master! What shall we do? So, he answered, do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see. Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. II Kings 6:15-17 (NKJV)

The King of Aram had declared war against Israel. You would think that when a person declares war over a people, it should instill some fear in them and send them into panic. But what disturbed this King the most was the fact that prophet Elisha was always a step ahead of his plans to attack Israel. So, he sent large troops of soldiers to capture Elisha so he wouldn’t be able to help Israel win the war against his nation.  In that circumstance, Elisha was clearly surrounded and as a powerful prophet that he was, could have prayed to God to rain down fire and brimstone on this army! But he kept his peace because he knew that the Chief Commander of the Host of the Armies of Heaven was surrounding him.

Sometimes, it looks like the situation caving in on you is stronger than the presence of God. But if you will just be like Elisha who prayed to God to open the eyes of his servant to see the presence of God and the chariots of fire, you will be at peace. You may look like you are surrounded by pressure, by pain, by mockery, by scorners, by failures and so on – but I want to tell you that you are surrounded by the Most High God! For this very reason, celebrate and worship God and bask in His peace! Have a restful weekend!

Confession: I am aware of the presence of God and His angel armies. I shall not be afraid! I will only keep my peace.

  • Marvelous Help

Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-two years. His mother’s name was Jekoliah; she was from Jerusalem… In Jerusalem he made devices invented for use on the towers and on the corner defenses so that soldiers could shoot arrows and hurl large stones from the walls. His fame spread far and wide, for he was greatly helped until he became powerful.”- 2 Chronicles 26:3, 15 (NKJV)

Uzziah was quite young when he became king of Israel. In his time, he was able to build infrastructure, develop agriculture, make military advancements and invent new devices. But all these abilities were possible only because he was marvelously helped by God. Uzziah’s creative idea was infused by God and so is the same with us. You must make the connection between yourwalk with God and the divine capacity to be creative.

This season, open your mind to be infused with divine ideas. Apply yourself on a broad spectrum to create solutions and unleash your creative capacities to the world.
    Have a wonderful day!

Confession: My mind is open to the Holy Spirit and I am full of divine ideas. My ideas bring about development in my city, my nation and the world at large. God uses me to be a blessing to everyone around me.

  • God-Inspired Strategy

Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan. He divided his forces against them by night, and he and his servants attacked them and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is north of Damascus. So, he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people. – Genesis 14:16 (NKJV)

Have you ever wondered how Abraham was able to defeat 4 kings and their raging armies with only 318 trained servants? It was only by divine tactics and God- inspired strategy. This resulted to a great victory and recovery of all the goods the army had plundered. The strategy was preparation and knowledge of his environment.  Abraham had to prepare all his servants with proper training for the eventuality of war, day and night! This training eventually cumulated into a successful recovery, when the opportunity came to rescue Lot. Just imagine if Abraham was not prepared, Lot would have remained a captive.

Maybe your God-inspired strategy to that situation is preparedness that may in turn be someone’s saving grace! Maybe you just need to acquire knowledge at the current position you’ve found yourself, which will work to your advantage in the future.  This season, let God inspire you, let him show you some divine tactics and give you some mind-blowing strategies.  You will always achieve uncommon feats and superior victory!

    Have a wonderful day.

Confession: I will prepare and increase my knowledge to harness the opportunities that God is bringing my way.

  • What’s Your Service Quality?

And Laban said to him, “Please stay, if I have found favor in your eyes, for I have learned by experience that the Lord has blessed me for your sake. “Then he said, “Name me your wages, and I will give it.” So, Jacob said to him, “You know how I have served you and how your livestock has been with me. For what you had before I came was little, and it has increased to a great amount; the Lord has blessed you since my coming. And now, when shall I also provide for my own house?” – Genesis 30: 27–30 NKJV

Laban, who was Jacob’s uncle, father- in-law and employer had hired Jacob to work for him for 14 years – years that happened to be extended due to Laban’s trickery. But there was something profound to note about Laban’s intensions to keep Jacob even a bit longer. First, he enjoyed favor and blessings from God because of Jacob’s presence and became exceptionally rich as a result of Jacob’s service to him. Which means Jacob rendered excellent service.

You must give the best of your service to everyone, whether the person is good or otherwise, they are still an extension of God and deserve your best. Jacob knew this and didn’t give sub-standard service to his cunning uncle. He never worked a day with a false sense of entitlement and was diligent in all his dealings. Just like Jacob, no matter where you find yourself and whatever type of service you render, give your best. Let your name be known by the quality of your service.

    Have a fruitful day.

Confession: I am diligent in all my dealings and business. I commit to giving only excellent service to everyone I meet at all times in Jesus name, Amen.

  • Leverage!

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. – Genesis 1:1 (NKJV)

God is the originator of all things and He expects you to leverage on all the things He has created. Before the airplane was invented, the Wright brothers carried out some extensive studies on birds to understand the principles of flight. God did not create the chairs you sit on today, but He created trees used for it and provided other raw materials to be used for other things. Humans just leveraged on what He provided.

What project has been placed in your hands to create a masterpiece from? What are you doing about it? How are you accessing the witty ideas to create this masterpiece? Leverage on the ‘lemons’ around you to make exceptional ‘lemonade’. And if you feel lost along the way, ask God to open your eyes to see the opportunities and raw materials He has placed around you – then create! Do have a wonderful week ahead!

Confessions: I am a co-creator with God. I was created in the likeness of God and I have His ability to create.

  • Your DNA is Creativity

Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made – John 1:3 (NIV)

God first introduces Himself to us as a creator. The Bible also states that He made you and I in His image and likeness which means we are also creators. Since God made you to be like Him, He also made you to create and innovate like Him. He will not come down to give you a chair to sit on, but He has already provided you with the materials – wood, metal, polymer and so on. God created the garden but instructed Adam to work and care for it because He had put the wisdom and innovative ability in Adam to do so. All resources and raw materials have been made available to humanity to keep creating, enhancing and evolving humanity.

You will need creativity and innovation through various times and seasons to remain relevant in this ever-evolving world. The skills you learn today will not be enough for current and future challenges. It’s one thing to finish school with a first class degree but another to be able to think outside the box and be a game-changer in spite of the skills you’ve acquired. What are you doing with the creativity God put in you? How are you working with it to remain relevant? Creativity is in your DNA… use it!

    Have a restful weekend.

Confession: I am a relevant personality in my industry. I possess creative and innovative prowess and from today, I put it to good use through the wisdom and grace of God inside of me in Jesus name.

  • Is that Need Coming from Greed?

“Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.  For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes” –  Luke 12:22-23

Greed is a result of lack of trust in God to take care of things and the fear of the unknown. The belief that God cannot do for them more than they can do for themselves leads many to strive to gather up wealth that they consume on themselves.

These kind of people are usually limited by certain mindsets such as, poverty, the fear of being in continuous lack; scarcity, the belief that what they have is not enough to go around, no matter how much it is; wanting to be ahead at the expense of others by doing anything to get what they want; insatiable appetite, a sense of value that depends on acquired material wealth instead of God; and materialism, wanting the best of everything just for yourself.

Greed will always rear its head but your ability to hold on to God’s covenant promises will help you overcome.

Declaration:   I declare I am not overcome by greed, I live on covenant promises and I operate in the blessed life. Amen.
