  • Dealing with Pressure

“And David inquired of the Lord, saying, ‘Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?’ The Lord answered him, ‘Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all’…David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken and rescued his two wives.” – 1 Samuel 30:8 &18

Negative experiences from the past can cloud one’s judgment and perception of the future and have an impact on their beliefs. But regardless of the current state of affairs in your life, God is able to turn things around. You may have lost a job, a loved one, a contract, a relationship, huge sums of money and everything just seems to be swallowed up in darkness but don’t fret.

King David was in a similar situation once. Everything he had was taken away from him in a single day! And yes, just like you, he was devastated and even got depressed. To add to his predicament, His allies even turned against him. But he overcame these seemingly insurmountable obstacles by finding courage in the face of God; he encouraged himself in God. That’s where your answer lies! Regardless of the situation, seek God. If you must cry out, cry. But never let the situation take you away from God’s presence. You will never know a better yesterday after you do so! Have a blessed day!

Confession: I rely on God every day, my refuge and my strength so that I will never bow to whatever may come my way in Jesus name.

  • Hope For the Future

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”- Romans 8:28 (NLT)

God’s will for you is that all things work out for your good. You have access to divine power to turn things around and establish God’s will for you here on earth. His grace is readily available to you when you ask.
However, in order to receive grace and the help of the Lord, we must be rightly positioned.

We can’t live by the rules of one kingdom and expect to receive the blessings of another. Spend more time in meditation and prayer this season and receive God’s grace and help in your time of need. Have a great day!

Confession: I receive clear directions; my spirit is built up and so is my hope for the future in Jesus name!

  • …With All Diligence

Guard your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life”- Proverbs 4:23

Your heart is the control room for your entire body system. It’s where everything needed for growth and development is distributed from. The condition of your heart can influence your feelings, your will, and even your intellect. We are all instructed to guard our hearts jealously with all diligence, because it affects everything about our lives.

This simply means that what you see and hear goes straight to your heart, can affect it and limit or advance your ability to declare God’s word over your life. As you start this season, ensure you feed your heart with the word of God.

Confession: I shall guard my heart jealously. I won’t permit it to be affected by the cares of this world instead I feed myself with God’s word till I am full! I am a believer and not a doubter!

  • Forgive

“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”- Matthew 6:12

When Jesus taught us to pray, He didn’t say, ‘forgive us our debts, while we attempt to forgive our debtors’. This means God expects you to forgive because He’s ready to forgive you. You are made in His image, so forgiveness should be a part of your lifestyle! Think about it – kittens don’t struggle to purr nor do puppies struggle to bark, they just adopt the nature of their species. You also should adopt the nature of forgiveness as your Heavenly Father does.

Jesus told us that, “offences will come”. You will get disappointed by your loved ones, by community and so on. Instead of lashing out in anger and harbouring bitterness in your heart, remember you are bigger than that hurt. Forgive and, more importantly, make room in your heart to forgive offences. Be generous with excuses on behalf of people and situations and be at peace with all men! Have a wonderful day!

Confession: I forgive just like my heavenly Father does. My heart is filled with love and compassion for anyone and any situation.

  • This is the Confidence!

“And this is the confidence that we have in Him that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us and if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.”- 1 John 5:14-15,  (NKJV)

Are you not excited to know that everything you ask for in prayer, according to God’s will, shall be granted? Some people approach prayer with doubt in their hearts and that should not be. Yourprayers become more effective when you spend time learning God’s will rather than asking for things randomly, that way you are confident enough to know that He will answer. Also, in yourrelationship with God, always go to His presence absolutely certain in your heart that even before you ask anything, He knows what you need and makes it available to you according to His will.

It’s God’s wish that you prosper even as your soul prospers. Be unwavering in your confidence and faith in Him. Have a great day!

Confession: I am more than confident in my Heavenly Father that whatever I ask of Him according to His will, He shall do for me!

  • Faith-Full Yet?

“We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead.” – 2 Corinthians 1:8b-9 (NLT)

Do you believe that God cares about how you feel when you go through tough times? Stormy seasons come to all men both great and small, to test their faith in God and their resolve to succeed. But how full is your faith to weather these storms of life when they come? Keep your faith in the place of prayer, believing that God will bring you out of the wilderness or seemingly dark time sooner than you think.

Apostle Paul shared the secret of how he was able to overcome dark times. He leaned on the ability of Christ. So be encouraged and know that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!

Confession: I shall pass through the storms of life because I know that God is with me. I shall not be overwhelmed by the circumstances, but I come out stronger and on top because I am more than a conqueror through Christ.

  • Simply Ask

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”- Jeremiah 33:3

God delights in answering your prayers and giving you something new to enjoy at every stage of your life. You’ve only got to ask Him for it and believe that He gives freely to all who ask, which includes you. It’s so easy to dismiss the thought that He is not interested in the little details of your life. But the absolute truth is that He very much is and there’s wisdom gained in asking Him.

David was already a warrior from a young age. Yet, there was no battle he fought without asking God for specific instructions. God unravels mysteries about Himself to you each day when you seek Him. Learn to see the world through His eyes. Before you embark on that project, ask the Lord for step-by-step details about it and watch Him show you just how much He’s interested in the affairs of your life! Enjoy a wonderful weekend ahead!

Confession: I have a sound mind to receive clear instructions from the Lord. I am not anxious or fearful. I have a spirit of power and of love to accept that God loves me and is interested in my affairs.
