Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo is a globally renowned preacher, Christian author, architect, and the founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (popularly known as Winners’ Chapel International), a global network of churches spanning over 65 nations.
Driven by his 1981 “Liberation Mandate”—a divine call to liberate the world from oppression through the preaching of faith—he has pioneered one of Africa’s largest charismatic movements. He is the architect and visionary behind Canaanland, a 5,000-acre mega-estate in Ota, Nigeria, which houses the Faith Tabernacle, formerly recognized as the world’s largest church auditorium.
A passionate advocate for human development, Bishop Oyedepo has revolutionized private higher education in Africa by founding top-tier institutions, including Covenant University and Landmark University. He is also a prolific author with over 70 life-transforming books published under Dominion Publishing House.
He is happily married to Pastor Faith Oyedepo, and they are blessed with four children and several grandchildren.
